We believe client updates shouldn’t slow teams down.
Before Zipp, project updates were stuck in the past
We’ve both led two of New Zealand’s largest surveying companies (Jarrod Renall & Peter Melrose), and saw the same issue time and again. Projects relied on strong communication, but the systems weren’t built for it. Teams were drowning in update emails and follow-up calls, while clients still felt in the dark.
As our businesses grew, so did the communication bottlenecks. Project managers were spending hours each week on repetitive updates. Clients were left chasing clarity. And the tools we tried weren’t solving it, they were built to manage tasks, not keep clients informed.
That’s why we built Zipp. A simpler, more focused way to manage updates and share progress. Not more complexity, just the clarity clients need, and the time back that teams deserve.
Today, Zipp helps project-based businesses communicate better, faster, and with less stress, because strong communication doesn’t just improve projects. It builds trust.
